Participants in the LEA BOP Advisory Workgroup represent school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, community colleges, university campuses, professional organizations representing LEA services, DHCS, and the California Depart​ment of Education. The LEA BOP AWG meeting provides a regular opportunity for participating LEAs and stakeholders to gather together, learn about program updates, and participate in a focused training on a program-specific topic. The emphasis of the AWG meeting is to strategize various goals and activities aimed at expanding Medi-Cal services on school sites, increasing student’s access to care, and facilitating appropriate federal reimbursement for providing services to students enrolled in Medi-Cal.
