​1. What is the date of reco​​rd?

The date established by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that an eligible employee must be employed by a qualified clinic to be eligible for a retention payment. DHCS established the date of record as December 28, 2022.

2. When is registration available fo​r qualified clinics?

The registration process begins on November 15, 2022, and closes on December 28, 2022.

3. When can qualified clinics begin su​​bmitting information for eligible employees?

The application process begins on December 29, 2022. Applications must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. PST on January 27, 2023. DHCS encourages early submissions to expedite the validation and payment processes.

4. When can eligible employees expect to receive a retention payment?

Qualified clinics are required to distribute retention payments to eligible employees within 60 days of receiving funds from DHCS. DHCS anticipates distributing funds to qualified facilities in March 2023.​​
