On February 24, 2022, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will hold a virtual public hearing to discuss the regulatory provider bulletin updating the designation of categorical risk levels for Drug Medi-Cal applicants with Narcotic Treatment Program or Heroin Detoxification Program services modalities.  This is necessary to comply with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ recent designated categorical risk levels for newly enrolling and revalidating opioid treatment programs. Please see the provider bulletin draft for more information. You are invited to join DHCS to discuss these proposed changes.
