​Applications are LIVE for Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility COVID-19 Worker Retention Payments (WRP)

 ​​​​On November 29, 2022, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will begin accepting applications for Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility COVID-19 Worker Retention Payments (WRP). All Covered Entities (CEs), Covered Services Employers (CSEs), Physician Group Entities (PGEs) and Independent Physicians who successfully registered prior to November 29, 2022 will receive a link to the application and can begin submitting required information on behalf of their eligible workers/employees. Application guidance, links to templates for submission and the list of successfully registered entities and physicians have been posted on the WRP webpage. All requests for payment must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on December 30, 2022. DHCS encourages early submissions so all applications can be validated shortly after the application submission deadline. DHCS anticipates issuing payments to CEs, CSEs, PGEs and Independent Physicians in January 2023.​
