You must be an active Medi-Cal provider to become a GHPP provider. To apply for Medi-Cal provider number, please go to the Medi-Cal website.

Dental Providers​

Dental providers requesting to treat GHPP beneficiaries must be actively enrolled in Medi-Cal Dental and comply with Medi-Cal Dental’s policies, procedures, and requirements. For more information about Medi-Cal Dental, please go to the Medi-Cal Dental website.

GHPP Medi-Cal Clients​

These beneficiaries are eligible for full scope benefits with no share of cost under Medi-Cal. Dental claims are to be sent directly to Medi-Cal Dental, and do not require prior GHPP authorization. 

GHPP Only Clients

These beneficiaries receive comprehensive State-funded health care and require prior GHPP authorization.
