CHDP Vision Screening Training Module​​​

​This training module is designed for local CHDP program staff to use in training CHDP providers and provider staff.  The Learning Objectives are explained in the introductory module.  The screening procedure for use with each vision chart is presented in individual PowerPoint Presentations.  Resources and training materials are provided to facilitate CHDP provider training. Revision of CHDP resources is an ongoing effort. In the interim, where CHDP resources contradict current standards adopted by the State of California, the current standard is to be followed. Current Vision Screening standards can be found in California Code of Regulations, Article 4 and California Department of Education Guidelines.
