California Children's Services Compliance, Monitoring, and Oversight Program

Enhancing County Oversight and Monitoring is established through the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal Initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to establish, implement, and evaluate statewide performance, quality, and reporting standards for county administration of the California Children’s Services (CCS) program. The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) solicited and selected CCS Monitoring and Oversight Workgroup members who will collaborate with DHCS regarding the development of a Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and associated monitoring protocols (e.g., procedures, tools) to ensure appropriate oversight of the county and state responsibilities for the CCS programs

Mission

To develop, implement, and evaluate consistent standards for quality and access to care for beneficiaries enrolled in the CCS program throughout the state of California.
