​MIPPA - Dual Eligible Special Needs Insurance Plans (D-SNPS) 

In July 2008, the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA) was approved by Congress and became law.  Among other things, MIPPA required that for contract year 2010, dual eligible special needs insurance plans (D-SNPs) develop a comprehensive written statement for prospective enrollees that includes each prospective state’s Medicaid services. Go to view California's comprehensive statement of Medicaid (Medi-Cal) benefits.
