Expert Task Force
The Expert Task Force is the stakeholder committee created in 2016 to continue the work of creating, maintaining, and growing the Performance Outcomes System in line with W & I Code 14707.5. The ETF Includes representatives and advocates of child and youth clients; county staff; child/youth advocates, academics; other California state-level entities, including representatives of the Legislature, DOF, DCSS, MHSOAC, and CBHDA; as well as other members of the interested public.
Purpose:
- Provide state staff with relevant subject matter expertise in the field of mental health and performance outcome measures
- Assist the state with the development of the performance outcomes system and represent the perspectives of multiple stakeholders
- Define the POS domain indicators and measures of child/youth mental health data while providing a practical perspective
- Identify gaps that exist in current data collection that will need to be addressed in the future
- Provide recommendations for the integration with other measures efforts such as Katie A. and Managed Care
- Review and make recommendations to the design of reports to ensure that the data reports developed are informative, user-friendly, and useful
- Assist in developing a QI process using new data from these reports
