Master Provider File
The Master Provider File (MPF) data systems retain Substance Use Disorder (SUD) provider records for each California County. The MPF Team is responsible for the data management and maintenance of the SUD records.
What is the MPF Database?
The MPF is a group of interconnected databases including the Provider Registry Information Management Enterprise (PRIMe), Short-Doyle Medi-Cal Adjudication and Remediation Technology System (SMART6i), California Outcome Measurement System (CalOMS), and the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Access Report (DATAR).
The MPF Team assists California counties in the management of their SUD provider record information. Current and accurate SUD provider records ensure successful submissions for Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) claims, monthly CalOMS submissions, monthly DATAR submissions, monthly Primary Prevention Services Data System (PPSDS) submissions, quarterly Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Block Grant (SABG) invoices/ledgers, and annual fiscal Cost Reports.
