Electronic Visit Verification for Individual Nurse Providers

Welcome to the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) California Electronic Visit Verification (CalEVV) for Individual Nurse Providers (INP).

California developed the below definition for an INP who is considered exempt from CalEVV requirements. 

Definition

A “Live-in Caregiver” is a caregiver who regularly remains in the recipient’s home for more than 24 hours at a time and provides any of the authorized personal care services and home health care services.
