​Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) Program Eligibility Review Component

The Eligibility review component of the Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) program was suspended while the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) addresses changes to eligibility determinations due to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). States are required to participate in CMS Eligibility Review Pilots to test new approaches and methodologies that will be used to develop new and/or revised federal regulations. For further information about the Eligibility Review Pilots, please visit the CMS web site.
