DHCS Stakeholder News Update - June 03, 2022
Dear Stakeholders,
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is providing this update of significant developments regarding DHCS programs, as well as guidance related to the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE).
Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Webinar Series
On June 14, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. PDT, DHCS will host the second of three webinars on ECM. The “ECM in Rural California" webinar will provide an overview of ECM intended for providers and community-based organizations located in rural areas. DHCS will be joined by Hill Country Community Clinic in Shasta County to share their experiences with providing ECM. Advanced registration is required.
In addition, on June 21, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PDT, DHCS will host the final June webinar on ECM. The “ECM & Community Supports Intersection" webinar will include speakers from Illumination Foundation in California to share their experience about being both an ECM and Community Supports provider. The webinar will also include “myth-busting" on misconceptions between the two programs. Advanced registration is required.
Interested stakeholders are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the webinars to CalAIMECMILOS@dhcs.ca.gov. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions during the webinars.
