The following are links to State Plan Amendments (SPAs) that were submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for review and are currently pending approval. These SPAs have been submitted, but not yet approved. The final versions may be subject to significant change.
- 21-0005 Proposes to extend the supplemental payment program for Freestanding Pediatric Subacute (FS/PSA) facilities past the current sunset date of December 31, 2021, effective beginning January 1, 2022.
- 21-0033 Proposes to continue to provide supplemental payments under the Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment (Family PACT) program for Evaluation and Management (E&M) office visits rendered for the purpose of comprehensive family planning services.
- 21-0034 Proposes to extend Proposition 56 Supplemental Payments for specific Medi-Cal Family Planning Services indefinitely.
- 21-0038 Proposes to allow supplemental reimbursement to hospitals up to the aggregate
upper payment limit without supplanting specified existing levels of payments
for the provision of inpatient services to Medicaid beneficiaries.
- 21-0039 Proposes to allow supplemental reimbursement to hospitals up to
the aggregate upper payment limit without supplanting specified existing levels
of payments for the provision of outpatient services to Medicaid beneficiaries.
- 21-0045 Proposes to eliminate the sunset date for supplemental incentive payments to support developmental screenings as well as trauma screenings, also referred to as adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) screenings.
- 21-0059 Proposes to amend the
reimbursement methodology for Freestanding Pediatric Subacute (FS/PSA) facilities.
- 21-0063 Proposes to add Medication Therapy Management (MTM) under Pharmacist Services in the Alternative Benefit Plan.
