The following are links to State Plan Amendments (SPAs) that were submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for review and are currently pending approval. These SPAs have been submitted, but not yet approved. The final versions may be subject to significant change.
- 20-0023 Proposes to renew and modify the reimbursement methodology for freestanding skilled nursing facility Level-B (FS/NF-B) and freestanding adult subacute facilities (FSSA).
- 20-0036 Proposes to allow nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and physician assistants to order home health services, including durable medical equipment and medical supplies, within their scope of practice.
- 20-0042 Proposes to allow supplemental reimbursement to hospitals up to the aggregate upper payment limit without supplanting specified existing levels of payments for the provision of outpatient services, effective July 1, 2020.
- 20-0043 Proposes to allow supplemental reimbursement to hospitals up to the aggregate upper payment limit without supplanting specified existing levels of payments for the provision of outpatient services, effective July 1, 2020.
