The following are links to State Plan Amendments (SPAs) that were submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for review and are currently pending approval. These SPAs have been submitted, but not yet approved. The final versions may be subject to significant change.

19-0009 Proposes to add medically necessary comprehensive eye exams, corrective lenses, and frames under Local Educational Agency (LEA) Program.
- 19-0017 Proposes to add specific pharmacist services as a Medi-Cal benefit to align the Alternative Benefit Plan (ABP) with SPA 18-0039.
- 19-0047 Proposes to restore coverage for certain optional benefits and remove the monthly two-visit limit for services by podiatrists, and it also aligns the ABP with SPA 19-0046.
